It's sunny in Cle Elum

Because clouds release their moisture while gaining elevation in their ascent over the west side of the Cascades, then dissipate while going down the east side*. So sunny they're building a solar energy array.

* This, by the way, is the phenomenon behind most Northwest weather. I even get deja vu typing this footnote.
